Whether you’re a student, teacher, staff member, janitor, dean, or whatever… you need to know what’s happening on your school’s campus. So we want to know: how does your school communicate? Are they Twitter nuts hosting TweetUps or are they still only communicating with the student body and outside world through snail mail? We’ve heard of schools doing either…and want to know about yours.
Why do we want to know?
We’re building a new part of our site that will allow members of all schools to see how others are communicating. Consider it a ‘best practices’ page for anyone wanting to know how schools are communicating, whether through social media or other channels.
What we want to know:
- Does your school use Twitter? If so, do you follow the account?
- Does your school have its buildings listed on Foursquare?
- Does your school use an emergency communication system? (Snow day text messages, etc.)
- How do you prefer to get communication from your school? (E-mails, texts, phone calls, twitter, etc.)
Let us know in the comments or e-mail us at [email protected] to get your school featured on the website!
**The first five people to submit responses will be given EduDemic stickers, goodies, and prizes!**
