Ever been to a school website trying to find the mailing address of it… only to find yourself assaulted with racially diverse pictures, a virtual tour, and a lot of marketing language? As someone on the inside of education and web design, this has frustrated me to no end. School websites are pompous and need to be overhauled to better suit the user. Instead, they’re self-serving platforms that make finding useful information a horror.
Anyway, this comic from XKCD is going to be passed around my office, school, and pretty much everywhere.
