It’s time for a dead-simple way to turn your 11″ Macbook Air into what appears to be an old school notebook. Best of all, it’s free to do if you don’t mind a little extra work!
BeyondTheTech has just started offering the 25MB source file to make your Macbook Air into the laptop/notebook you see below. There you can view the MacRumors thread with the back-story of the design, a Gizmodo article, and most importantly the source files for the mod. It’s as simple as printing them out and sticking it onto your computer.
You will probably want to use sticky paper that easily peels off if you ever get tired of the design or make a mistake when trying to lay it on the computer for the first time.
