Social media is playing a bigger and bigger role in college education. From connecting students to enhancing the educational experience, it’s popping up everywhere. Does that mean college professors use Facebook?
Yes.
According to this snazzy infographic from Schools.com, 3 out of every 4 campus-based educators has a social media account. While this doesn’t mean they actively use it, it’s an interesting statistic. Nearly all professors are active on social media, and more than 80% of them use it as a teaching tool.
