If you’re at all like me, you’re a visual learner. I get easily hooked by websites that make use of images to help tell a story. In a world where everyone follows dozens of blogs on a daily basis, it can save some time to scroll through sites while just reading titles and glancing at images. To a website author, that means your choice of images is crucial.
There seem to be dozens of stock art repositories popping up these days. My favorites are iStockPhoto, Fotolia, and 123RF.com. However, those are all premium pay sites and it’s not always worth it to pay. That’s where Creative Commons licensing comes to the rescue. The following images are just examples from sites that offer free and high-quality premium stock photos and artwork to all. These examples come from MorgueFile, RGBStock, and Veezzle. If you’ve never been to any of those sites, check them out today!
