Topics: , , , , , , ,

Do you have a pile of innovative lesson plans that really resonate with students? Do you have your eye on an Apple Macbook Pro and / or Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5? Lucky for you, Adobe wants to do a bit of an exchange. As a reward for submitting your innovative teaching materials, you’ll be entered to win one of a ton of great high-tech prizes.

Edudemic will be covering this contest and featuring some of the best teaching materials submitted so you can rest assured you can monitor the whole contest from right here. Enough about Edudemic, here’s the skinny on the contest:

How It Works

It’s called the Adobe Education Exchange. Basically, you submit your innovative teaching resources and, in return, get entered to win some awesome prizes. But this isn’t just a boring old contest. You will actually get access to all the other resources submitted to Adobe by teachers from around the world.

This couldn’t have happened at a better time. As teachers and students start gearing up for the school year (Target’s already stocked up with Back to School supplies, yikes!) the pressure is building to create innovative and effective teaching tools. Thanks to the Adobe Education Exchange, you can show off your awesome teaching tools while also expanding your own teaching toolbox by checking out what other innovative teachers are doing.

The Official Details

The 2011 Educators’ Choice Awards will recognize and reward Adobe Education Exchange members who submit the most innovative teaching and learning materials. Your fellow members will choose the winners of the Awards by rating one another’s work, so impress your colleagues and compete for valuable prizes by submitting your best projects, lesson plans, curricula, tutorials, and other materials. For inspiration and examples, join or sign in to browse the resources on the Adobe Education Exchange.
