One of the newest and most innovative pieces of educational technology has just won big. ClassDojo, an app used for classroom behavior management, won the $75,000 top prize at NBC Education Nation in the Innovation Challenge.
A few of us from Edudemic were able to be in attendance and could definitely see why this app won. The highly intuitive and functional interface make classroom management (almost) fun.
Best of all, the abilities of ClassDojo are expected to expand by leaps and bounds thanks to the prize money. Liam Don, one of the co-founders, told the crowd at Education Nation that they’ll be expanding their team within the next six months. Although hiring just one person would be a big increase seeing as just Liam and Sam Chaudry are the only two people working on ClassDojo at this time.
