Math: When You Absolutely Must Piss Someone Off

Topics: , , , , ,

It’s Friday and that means it’s time for a less-serious post. I was going to use the term ‘Friday Funny’ but that seemed contrived. Anyway, my wife stumbled across this fantastically obnoxious image that was sent by a clever / rude person by the name of Randall Patrick Munroe to Verizon. As you can see, he is a fan of math and also bothering huge companies.

On a side note, why is he paying so much to Verizon? That’s a pretty big bill Randall. Time to take a hard look at your spending.

  1. It’s not e^(2 Pi), it’s e^(i Pi), which is the complex polar form representation of -1. So the check is for .002 -1 +1 dollars, or 0.2 cents.
