The new Facebook Timeline layout is rolling out. That means you now have a giant hunk of digital real estate that needs to be filled up with some sort of image. Rather than just stretch out any ol’ image, be a little adventurous by using one of the images here.

If you don’t like any of the images below, make your own (it’s gotta be 850px wide by 320px high) and share it with us! Add your custom image to the Edudemic Facebook page so others can see how creative / awesome you are. After all, you’re probably already pretty awesome if you’re reading this. Now, on with the gallery!

Great cover for teachers. The best collection of Facebook Covers are here: http://designfacebookcover.com/

  • Here’s a complete guide on Facebook Cover photos, examples, web sites and a psd template for a good start: http://www.vectorash.ro/facebook-timeline-cover-photo/

  • I really don’t see why these covers are only good for teachers. you know anyone could use these. most of them have nothing to do with teaching so…

  • here is noting related to teachers

If any teacher cannot relate to not ONE of these photos, then my 25 years of teaching advice,is exit the profession ASAP!. The crayola photo, alone, CREATES the vital necissity of how differences matter, yet all must be combined to create unity! In this current age of anti bullying,it CLEARLY,and vividly illustrates, that each student is unique, colorful, beautiful, but still is a crayola(student) in the same box(classroom). What if all the crayons,in the photo, were, all blue,or red, yellow,or all black? What a boring and dull class it would be.The colors are interior reflections,of each students inner core, learning style, etc.I can take that one photo and instantly in my mind create a lesson in every subject……………..e.g.,asking what color best reflects you, why? What is your favorite color? How many inches long is a crayon, lined up,how many inches,8 in a row, what size is the box,L,W,depth, the circumference of 1 crayon,8 crayons, draw a photo of yourself, pretend each crayon is a state,a city, can crayons melt?how are they made, how many colors are there!?Create a new colonr,or invent your own, blending several, shall I go on??I have 10 more, ready to roll lesson plans, in mind, from ONE photo.Perhaps I so very guilty of ,oh my,”thinking outside the fbox”….and in making every student I ever taught,in my inner city experience, from grades K to 8,in EVERY subject area,+ 10 years of special ed. that each crayon represents, the magic within each of you,and your limitless potential, and in closing my favorite line, from the 60 minutes deceased, Journalist,,Ed Bradley, who once was scolded for misbehaving,by a nun(teacher)in a Catholic School, where he was the ONLY,AfRICAN AMERICAN student in the entire school, grabbed him by his shirt collar, and said this as discipline,”you know you CAN BE ANYHING YOU WANT,KID,ANYTHING,SO PAY ATTENTION IN CLASS,AND LISTEN,” He later wrote in his biography, that his hero was his mother who sent him there)(a single mom,and and he was an only child),and that nun,who convinced him with one disciplinary remark(of love and belief in him),that he could indeed change, listen, learn, and chart his own destiny, and create his “CRAyOLA”" mark in this world. So thats my opinion, and I would LOVE to contact the Photographer,to get a poster size reprint,to mat and frame. My “own title”,would be “WE ARE ALL CRAYOLAS IN THIS BOX<I CALL LIFE,WHAT COLOR ARE YOU?""IF you could just be one????(I would then ask each student(I also teach ESL,in College)draw your one color, cut it into any shape you desire and then I would paste them all on a poster board, and place it on my entry door and write,WELCOME TO OUR CLASS/MEET MY STUDENTS….a rainbow of talents.Khrista
