I think my favorite piece of technology for my writing class is Google Documents. It allows my students to share everything with their whole class and myself while allowing me to check on their progress and give immediate feedback. It also allows students to work on assignments anywhere regardless of Mac Windows compatibility because all they need is an Internet connection.
