Facebook’s IPO has been a bit of a mess. The price has been halved but that’s not what matters. What matters is that there are now roughly a billion (with a b) registered users on the social network. It’s come quite a long way in a very short period of time. Whether or not you think the stock price matters, there’s no denying the presence of Facebook.
That’s what struck me as Katie came across this fabulous infographic from OnlineSchools.org. It’s a bit dated but packed with statistics that are likely even more surprising this year. As of the publication of the below infographic, Facebook had about half of the users it currently has.
Therefore, you could (in theory) double all the statistics and come to a closer look at the current state of Facebook. Long story short, it’s bonkers.

Hey Robin, I just checked out your link and it shows that Alex Trimpe’s video was actually done AFTER this infographic was produced. In fact, Alex even thanks OnlineSchools for the data and infographic as what inspired the video. So, not to worry. That video is great btw!
