Waaaaayyy back when (in 2010) Apple released the iPad, it seemed like that was the only option for you if you were going to buy a tablet. That wasn’t too far off from the truth – the iPad was the first commercially successful tablet, and at that point in time, there weren’t really any other easy-to-use options available.
Fast forward just two short years, and there are a host of options available if you’re in the market, and competition is fierce. If you’re a die-hard Apple or Android user, the choice is easier, but if you aren’t one to succumb to brand loyalty, then it might be hard to pick. This infographic shows a super useful side by side comparison of three of the leading tablets on the market to help you choose.
From the iPad 3 (the New iPad) to the Nexus 7 to the Kindle Fire, this chart is useful for students wanting to purchase for themselves or teachers & admins looking to deploy devices.

This should have waited for ipad mini, to get a more valid comparison of smaller tablets. Nevertheless, the 2 significantly cheaper options offer good value. The mini’s must be watched for 1:1 feasibility.
