I believe gaming is one of the great tools listed here-that if done properly, can be a great way to learn about history. We have Hostory Simulations for World War One, World War Two and The Cold War at HistorySimulation.com. I’m an active teacher that has been developing these simulations for the last twenty years. Students are engaged, excited and most of all interested in what what are studying- which makes teaching so much easier and students remember so much more in the long term-which should be the goal!
Believe 1, 2 & 3 are already here. We need to concentrate on four. Open content is about sharing not ‘owning’. We can ask everyone to share – we are more likely to move to knowledge based economy if we share with all of our learners and let those who do not want to learn live in the old paradigm. We can focus on the future !
