You know the movie Rocky, I’m sure. You know Sylvester Stallone. But do you know how the film and actor got their start? Did you know that Sly Stallone actually had such little money that he had to sell his dog for $25? The heartbreaking tale has a well-known happy ending (Stallone is a famous actor, producer, and director now of course) but the story is an important one.

In the face of adversity, Stallone worked past some tough things that would normally stand in the way of just about anyone. Partial paralysis, slurred speech, and more. The below visual was on Reddit last week and it just stuck with me. So I thought I’d share it with the Edudemic readers in hopes that it inspires you to face adversity head-on and work your tail off until you achieve your dreams.

Whether you’re a Sylvester Stallone fan or not, this visual is a must-see. Enjoy.

Hello Sly how r u, i do not know if you read everything that comes to you, and to all the old die hard movie fans, i would to see The Lords of Flatbush reunion, and a remake of the movie, and call it The Return to Flatbush, showing them with there kids and letting them know how it was growing up in there hood doing their time, this was the first time i saw Sly and Henry Winkler in the same movie, before they became big names on the movie screen.
