You may have a new e-mail client starting on Monday. Get ready for Facebook Mail. Facebook is rumored to announce their secret Project Titan — a web-based email client that is unofficially referred to internally as the “Gmail killer”. Facebook Mail is set to be unveiled on Monday during Facebook's special event (invitation on the right). It is expected to allow you to have e-mail addresses that end in @facebook.com.
But will it be more than POP-enabled webmail? Chances are good that it will be all that and more. If Facebook is seriously trying to take on GMail with a new product it will have to have some impressive features.

Read up on any new millionaire or billionaire and it seems they have the same story: come up with a good idea, drop out of school to develop it, cash in. It seems that innovators all have had to drop out of college (or high school) in order to have the time to make their dreams a reality.
Why is that? Isn't school supposed to be a nurturing atmosphere that allows for innovative people to flourish?

Foursquare is not going to replace Twitter or Facebook but it is still transforming the social media space. In fact, you know a service like Foursquare has caught on if schools are writing articles on how students are embracing the new system. For example, Marquette has just done a wonderful piece on how students are using Foursquare to find new and exciting places to go.
Schools not currently experimenting with services like Foursquare and Gowalla are missing out on a precious chance to connect with students.

There are plenty of people you want to communicate and connect with on Facebook. However, there do seem to be more than a few stereotypical personalities that you may want to avoid on the social network. For example, do you have a 'Town Crier' that constantly announces WITH CAPS LOCK ON the day's news? What about someone with 4,000 friends? There's no way they maintain communication with that many people. Enjoy!
